    I am using this tag:

    <meta name="robots" content="noodp">

    Anyone know the good and or bad for it and any other SEO Wordpress tips for good blog placement?

    that tag is used to tell Google not to use the Title and Description that the DMOZ uses for your site's results in SEPRS. I used it in the past and it worked great for me.

    I was listed in the DMOZ long before I knew about SEO and the title and description was not enticing users to clickthrough when they came accross my site while searching.

    There is an "all-in-one seo" plugin for wordpress. It will cover most of this

    Not sure why Google would want to pull the title and description from DMOZ instead of that which are in your headers!!!!
    Definitly not clever at all.
