So, a friend is thinking of branching out into notebook production and I'm helping him out with ideas. I know we've got a lot of creative people here, and I just thought I'd get some feedback. I'd love to here any ideas you have! If you were personalising a funky notebook, what would YOU put on the cover? It obviously has to be something that is marketable and commercial; not something one in a thousand people would buy. I'm mainly looking for one-liners, quotes, definitions etc that could come smack in the middle of the cover in a small font (if they're two part quotes, they can continue at the back). e.g. front cover: "madness?" back cover: "THIS IS SPARTA!!!" We want the series to be cool, funky and original. Not quotes that have been hackneyed to death! And varied stuff that would appeal to all age-groups! Lets see what all you guys can come up with!! Any other ideas related to graphics, design and printing etc are welcome too!!
"what are you looking at" I would stick to retro 60's patterns if I were to have a design on my notebook? Honestly, I prefer it black lol
What about a laptop with a snap in cover so you could change the design? I'd buy a Mondrian laptop. EDIT. i just realized you were probably talking about those old PAPER notebooks
Id love to have a laptop with a penguin instead of an apple like on macbooks. Also I did a story on acompany that does cool laptop skins, you could look there for ideasCool skins
