i'ive made a new website... please tell me what you think of it!

I would add some sort of a logo on the left header part as it looks empty. Also, the site looks a bit too grey. Try adding a bit more color contrasts

 

You need more content! I don't see much stuff on there...

The limegreen doesn't suit the layout at all. I would replace it with a white or orange. For the header area.. it's a bit plain.. try adding a glossy or gradient background behind it.

your colours look good but i have two suggest

* make a logo and a better header. your header does not look good.
* i see a food image above the google ads (160*600) which has pink background. it may be against the adsense tos. i suggest you to read http://adsense.blogspot.com/2006/12/ad-and-image-placement-policy.html

You definitely need a overhaul. Its very haphazard.

 

Design wise it looks goods! I agree that you should just add more content! Good luck and more delicious site for you!

The site is filled with more of google ads than real content. if you want people coming back to ur site have more content and less ads

If you want to work with AdSense, make sure it doesn't stick out. In the case of your website you're much better off with a white background just like the rest of the content space.

Then I would restructure the site and include the menus in the sub-navigation. The way it is set up now it is missing a clear structure.

 

Yeah, personally I would make your asianrecipes more central and not the adsense.

Ur design is nice. But too much adsense. Ur images looks a bit like it's not laid out properly.
