Cany you tell smokers?

You can tell by their smell and their lip color.

 

Usually by their smell.

 

Their lip color usually turns black(ish).

 

You can easily tell. They stink from a mile away

 

I met a lovely young lady who was a non-smoker. Head over heels in love, I was motivated to quit for her sake. It worked! I've been a former smoker now for 38 years.

Oh, yes...the young lady? We've now been happily married for 35 years.

 

Do you honestly believe that?

 

I dont know about others but i am 100% sure that no one can tell that i am a smoker just by sitting with me for few minutes or hours. It may be because i used to hide this "social habit" from parents when i was underage and while doing so i always took care of it in the sense that no one could tell that i have ever smoked basically i follow some rules...

I never smoke in a car no matter what
I dont smoke if i dont have a packet of gum in my pocket
I only smoke 555

and most importantly i am not an addict so i have no real problem now i am not saying that no one could tell after i just finished smoking one or two cig but i am talking about in general social life like if i have not smoked in these clothes then no one would be able to tell until i smoke and dont wash them. Clothes do smell but its not that a smoker smell himself or his breath smell i really believe that smokers breath do not smell instead it is addict who's breath smell ...

 

then they must b smoking in same old fashion,try new style of smoking and ur lip will remain red.

You can't tell by their lips, can you? What about people that use darker lipstick?

 

I smoke socially, and people ask me if I smoke and I say socially, and they say yea I can tell....dont know what gives it away.
But yes generally peoples clothes smell, breath smells, and for excessive smokers if youre with them for an hour, they'll go have a cig break lol.

 

Sometimes the skin of a smoker becomes darker, especially if you have a fair complexion..

 

That sounds like a good reason to smoke.


I don't what people are talking about smokers lips turning dark or blackish? never seen it in all my years.

specially when you to him and it smell bad...

 

Darker lips, smelly fingers, bad breath, smelly clothes.
Everything smells like cigarettes on a regular smoker.

Even if you have on different clothes, the hair and skin does retain the smell, unless you have thoroughly washed them too. I have definitely noticed this in people I have known.

I'm immensely sensitive to the smell... and allergic... and can smell it on someone from quite a distance! If I'm out walking at night especially, I can smell if there is someone nearby who is a smoker, even if I can see no-one... sometimes can be a bit frightening out late walking in the street or a park track! Is it a weirdo, or even a serial killer, stalking me??!!

 

Oh I hate smokers, (dont take offended to someone who smokes).

Mostly smokers well not all of them, they get yellow teeth, badbreath.
But some people do it to stop from stress as far as i know.

Well I hate smoke, and I can't stand the smell of it!
Oh and Ive got this school mates, well i can smell who smoke and who doesnt lol.
Because I have very good smell sense lol and I can easily smell who smokes.

 

yes most of the time when you go near them they stink of fags, and their teeth are normally quite yellow, and sometimes their fingers go a bit yellow.

I am glad they are banning people smoking in all enclosed public spaces in the UK very soon.
