Have you tried promoting affiliate products to that specific group of people?

You mentioned that you might be selling this site. Has this
    been finalized?

If you decide to sell advertising, let me know. I may be
    interested in that as well.

The $1/mth idea for extra features seems reasonable.
Offering it as an option rather than forcing a paid
subscription on them seems best. While not all members
will take you up on it, I'm guessing if what you offer is
appealing you'll convince enough people to make it
    worthwhile.

I'm curious. Did you buy this site off someone or build
it up yourself? 24,000 member is pretty impressive. I'd
like to know how you did it.

Please PM me regarding advertising and such...

    -Keith

It doesn't make any difference if you make them pay $1 or $20. Why should the existing members pay for that was free until now? It doesn't work and makes people leave - unless you provide something of extra value and charge the members for accessing it.

Why not find some Christian ebooks to sell from your site?

The thing is that right now they have a forum and arcade.
If that happen it would have to be something different but i wont charge then for what they have been getting for free. Beside charging the members is a little risky since they can get the same else were for free.

    Donation button.

Simply put, you've been doing this for so long and love the community, but then expain to them how much the site costs to keep running (I bet they have no idea it costs you anything!). Your community will certainly help out to keep their group together.

    Definetly use it.You have a few options ;

You can refer affiliate pages and you ll be paid around 3.5 for each free member you refer.
100 leads per day means $350 per day :p
Also you can add a paid membership plan

Hi, Im adding some new functionalities to the site, but it will remain free as always.
But i got a lot of PMS from people wanting to advertising on it and i think that's the best option...the affiliate thing is also good idea but i really don't know how all that work.
You see im a Christian guy and started this website (a Christian social network) as a hobies and never though that it will get so popular, wish of course elevated the server and maintenance cost so now i really need a way to make money at least so it pay it's own expenses.

Any one interested on been an sponsor please let me know via PM
The first thing you have to remember is that this is a Christian website so that mean that the ads need to be clean and at least PG13 rated. I can't advertise any sex, sexy, illegal, porn, or any stuff like that on a Christian website, also wouldn't do it in any web site of mine.

SO let me know via PM...Im planning to add a box to the right site with permanent sponsors links, wish of course will be limited to certain amount of links.
