Anchor text has a HUGE impact on SERP

I own a proxy (Vitalproxy) and also a proxy toplist (proxycycle).

I linked to my proxy using the words "Vital Proxy - Browse Anon"

Several days later, I rank #2 for the term "browse anon" without having those terms on my site at all.

Proxycycle is my only backlink so just 1 correct anchor text allowed me to rank for a phrase that doesn't appear on my site.

I knew it helped but never considered it by this much.

Also the topic of the site that links to your has a huge impact. I linked to my proxy from my game site and I received a visitor from a SE for a gaming term although the anchor text was proxy related.

Tips. make sure you always change anchor text abit if you would like to build more than 200+ back links in a short time. ^^ this will make it look more natural grow back link.
