Blog Hosting - Fascinating design - 100% custom piece of art

HEy all,
I have decided to sell a site which I fell in love with and purchased a year and a half ago.

The site is www.iblogme.com

This is a massive blog hosting and community portal. I purchased this site from a french dude last year. I never really got my hands on this and now I think I should let this baby to someone else...for the best.

Additional templates pack (50 templates which are really amazing)



Basically the person who buys this site will have to do some minor fixing. Such as spelling fixing on the pages (The french dude was dreadful at english, whilst he was a master of the design).

I have purchased this site for $2k from sitepoint. Its not cheap but this site is a real professional work. The potential is enormous if you get it going.

I myself am not in the urge of selling it. If it sells...good. If not, I will have an even better reason for developing it myself.

It says there are only 9 users registered. :S So all your really paying for is the design, which is good, but not $2000 worth.

You're also getting the script (costs $250!) and his starting bid is $500, so that seems pretty fair to me ...

 

The major bugs were fixed. It turned out that they were pretty easy to fix. However this site needs to be tuned. As i have said, you need to do a spell check.

The site gets insignifficant traffic. Say 5 uniques per day. Revenue is insignifficant aswell.

If you want to break it down, then you would be paying for:
1. iblogme.com - a very cool 1 year and 7 months old domain
2. Script which by itself costs $250 (not counting installation)
3. Professional design - This includes header, logos, flash animations and a awesome layout.
4. Additional templates pack - go to the features and check out the templates. There are flash templates aswell.
5. Installed and implemented forum

So yes, the site is not cheap. Furthermore the 2k is the bin. This is how much I paid for. I was happy when I got this site, cuz I know what potential it has. It is a candy for the eye of the visitors and can easily become a popular blog hosting portal.

What are the requirements for hosting ?

 

The requirements are that you support php and mysql. Nothing special...these are supported by 99.9% of the hosts.

Beautiful design... visited one of the member's blog and there seem to be a script irregularity displayed on the heading. Just thought of pointing it out for you.

 

thanks mate. this must be some kind of minor issue. I installed this site like ... a year and a half ago. Never really dug into it.
