So my wife and I just bought a new house! We are planning on moving the middle of June. 3 bed, 2.5 bath with bonus room over the garage. Sits on 3/4 of an acre and has gas logs, hardwood floors, a custom kitchen, and cathedral ceilings. We also got it for $14k less than what it was appraised for! Not to shabby in my opinion...yeah for a poor housing market (meaning selling, its a great time to buy!)!
got it for 195k, directly from the builder...we wanted to go a little bigger, but with a kid on the way my wife wants to cut down her hours at the hospital...I figure we will probably move in about 15 years if we need something bigger. This one is about 2400 sq. ft.
195 for a place like that is a really great deal! Do you mind telling what part of the country your in?
upstate SC...its a growing community...we have a view of the mountains (about 35 min away), and are roughly 2.5 hours from the beach! Gotta love it!
