Hello, im looking for help on my site not being indexed by msn.com or live.com? My site is is top ranked in google and most other engines and hope someone can help me fix the matter or point me into the right direction. Any help would be much appreciated. The site was launched in late 2002... I do not spam or use hidden text or anything like that... I send a monthly newsletter out to the users. The hotmail email addresses come back as not delivered? Thanks for any help on the matter...
Do you have an RSS feed? If so, create a page with Live Spaces and add your feed to the blogs you read. Live will notice you within days
You need a robots.txt file. In your robots.txt file you add a line that lets search engine spiders know where to find your XML site map. Just make a text file and name it robots, then add this to it (without quotes) "User-agent: * Disallow: Sitemap: http://www.alaska.com/sitemap.xml" upload it to your main web directory and that should be it. It will not only help you in getting indexed in MSN but also any other search engine
Submit to MSN, or link your site in. MSN is probably the easiest search engine to get decent rankings on. You only have to put a footer link-back to your homepage. Don't forget a click-back on your logo too. That's all.

I would not worry about it too much. I get about 10,000 - 15,000 unique visitors per day; about 3 of them come from MSN ...
