Possible Fraud or Confirmed Fraud?

Yesterday I had traded with the guy spider_man1103 and it was a smooth trading. I was happy and he seemed genuine as well.

Today I woke up and saw the "PayPal Investigation" notice regarding both transactions.

An unauthorized account activity claim was recently filed against the

I have sent my part of explanation to the PayPal and waiting for the results.

I have also sent PMs and e-mail to the guy spider_man1103 but I have not recieved his part of explanation yet.

I wanted to share this just so others dont get fooled by the same person IF he is fraud!

This clearly looks a fraud to me.

Can u explain more like what kind of exchange u did with him?

It was a straight deal of trading eGold against PayPal.

I was fooled by his iTraders. Does that means we cant trust ANYONE on DP?

 

U should better wait for his PM or reply to email u sent him.No u r wrong,there r some reputed exchangers also on DP.In my opinion NIO and SENAPAI r trusted exchangers here.

 

It looks like he did a chageback and ran away with the money, but lets wait and see.

Thats what I meant here! I simply followed the rules of trading and iTrader of 27 and that too all positive could not go wrong. I have sent him mails and PMs and I havent heard anything yet.

I have all the patience in the world and I will wait.

Meanwhile I will try to convience PayPal regarding this.

Sushant, if its a case of Chargeback then I am not worried cause I know I will be able to conveince PayPal regarding this and they will pay my money, but if its the case of Fraud then its a shame.

$170 is not a big amount for me but I think I wont be as confident to deal with DP exchangers for sometime now.

 

as for the case of e-gold to paypal trade, i dont think paypal favors this, they might close both your account for this. as this is against their TOS

I just wanted you people to know about this exchanging on DP. I wanted to put this case infront of all DP members.

If PayPal closes the account then also its OK to me!

 

Don't try to convince paypal. You will get your account suspended since paypal is very strict against this...

I hope he returns the money!

 

Im just starting on DF and this kind of things scared me a LOT.
Who can we really trust in here then....?

 

People like getjimmy ( iTrader of : 229 and Posts like 2000+ ) or the ones he recommended can be trusted.

From what I have noticed, people come here, stay for a while, get the positive iTrader of 20-50 and then rip off a guy with deals like $100+ / $200+ etc

The guy spider_man1103 is here on DP from April and its not that long, in last few months he convienced peoples with positive trading and then...ZOOOM!

Anyways, I am still waiting for the explanation from spider_man1103. If he returns my money - I will be thankful to him and if NO, a good lesson for myself and DP members.

So basically, I learnt the lesson hard way!

I am waiting for Max to return on DP so I can discuss but I dont know if I will ever see him again on DP / Yahoo / MSN with the same ID

 

did paypal say why they ruled in his favour? Normally the buyer is out of luck for digital transactions?
