seperate content campaign from search campaign, include 1 keyword per adgroup for content campaign and add the conversion code, You will know which keyword are performing in the content network and delete those underperforming one., Use the site exclusion tool to avoid MFA sites, unrelated sites, that will help too.
It only works well for certain industries/markets. You can try some of the content network strategies which have proved to work. Also remember, it works better if you split your content and search network bids and campaigns.
Try turning off Google Adwords between 12:45 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. (NY time) and see if your bank account grows... ... This is the time when both click fraud occurs (and Google actually bumps up your average click costs). Try it out... you have nothing to lose but fraudulent clicks.
The benefit of content network is bid price can lowest to $0.01/click that's pretty nice in nichey product. Anyway, search network is faster to get click and conversion.
I'm a sucker for statistics, seostew... ... I constantly run my client's dayparting data to look for patterns. (Warning: Google doesn't make it easy to run this report... you have to import the data into a spreadsheet and manually sort the data... I'd create a video tutorial on how to do this but that's kind of like showing people how to pull their own molars -- it ain't easy -- people want videos on how to make millions while sleeping:>) Try it yourself and see if your bank account grows. It's one of my favorite PPC strategies.
Markus, you'd be surprised Not everyone thinks they can make a million dollars while in the shower or packing their kids lunch. I would be interested in some of the methods you are describing.
Count me in, I'd like to learn something new. However, all these comments about earning millions in 12 minutes is beginning to make me think they are bogus. When did this happen? I thought this part of the forum was exclusive to people who made their millions in PPC. I remember clicking the checkbox during account registration.
As long as I don't get banned, I'd be happy to make this my new "home." I (and a lot of other marketing junkies) are getting their posts banned at the Warrior Forum (my old home)... why -- the forum owner (at the Warrior Forum) is getting pressured to ban those who question the "gurus" -- and I'm on top of the list. Plus, I'm vocal about fascism and globalism (did you see my thoughts about Google being funded by the CIA from day one) -- I'm radioactive so to speak. So as long as we're free to speak honestly here, I'd love to swing by here periodically and post Google Adwords' methods and strategies I've picked up by helping my clients. Do you think this message board will always allow honest swaps of ideas?
Some of the old timers need to chime in on this question. I haven't been here long enough to comment.
I know this is an old post, but here is my opinion why it does not work: The basic Adsense strategy nowadays is to trick people into clicking it. That being said, the natural response for someone who got tricked into clicking on it is to immediately X out the landing page as soon as they realize they clicked on an ad. I bet a great deal of clickers and subsequent visitors don't spend but a second on the landing page...I suppose it *might* work if you are targeting a non web savvy niche...forget about it if you are trying with web hosting and the like.
I think if your ads are showing on good contest network websites and you have optimized your ad copy efficiently, then you will get more conversion. The best think is to optimize your ad first, if you not.
