Nah, I was responding to gworld. Apparently, in addition to the US, Israel, Christians, Jews, Soldiers and dmoz, he's going to start directing some of his outrage at terrorists. I know, I know...wtf, has hell froze over? I was thinking the same thing, but he seemed pretty honest about it this time! As for combing through your posts, I'm an advocate of working smarter, not harder. That would take too long. All I have to do is visit google to prove that you were either incorrect, or not being very honest.
If I were running things, I would only put people in jail that commit violent crimes. I think jail is good to keep violent people away from society, and that's about it. What will anyone get for locking Paris up in jail? Taxpayers will just pay for her food and housing for 45 days, but I don't really think she is a danger to society I think it would be good for her to learn a lesson, that she cannot buy her way out of everything. So maybe have her do some community service time where she has to actually work. But prison time seems kind of harsh. I would feel that way about anyone not just Paris.
She's spending the 45 days in jail, not prison. Jail isn't that big of a deal compared to prison. It still sucks though, but that's what you get for being a drunk behind the wheel.
Exactly. But had she not broken parole, she'd not be in jail. In essence the crime was drinking and driving - but breaking parole got her carted off to jail. Well. Given 30 days, and THEN carted off.
Wouldn't it make more sense to fine her instead? There is no room in the prisons in CA. Why not fine her like 50 million and build a new prison for the real criminals, rapists, murderers, and terrorist sympathizers.
There's a difference between "jail" and "prison" in the USA? Where I live the drink drive laws are well communicated. You know the limits, you know the consequences. Those 45 days would be nothing compared with the living hell she and her victims would suffer if she'd had an accident and hurt/killed people. It's being reported down here that some "lost" star served only 4 hours of a slightly longer sentence due to overcrowding. What BS. Hours?! Why bother? How do they make that equitable? Oh, and AGS, you're right with your DS comment!
LOL im so happy she is going to jail but i hear good behaviour might have her out in 2 weeks or less. Plus what if she is seperated? Id love to see some butch give her a black eye and see her get on 20/20 to barbara walters about it.
