I checked about 50 websites from all across the globe. All of them seem to be showing PSA ads. Adsense is down?

Interesting, I've never seen a widespread ad serving problem from Google.

:( Public service ads showing on whole network of mine.

Checked other forums and DP but now feeling better because it is not just me alone.

Just 30 minutes ago it was showing regular ads. :(

Even I thought I was banned. I did a minor change to the placements of the ads in my website. When I saved the changes and hit refresh I got this error.

This problem had indeed occurred once before. Just did some research on that. Same problem was reported on webmasterworld on April 23, 2004

These PSA ads are irritating. My website looks ugly now. Hope regular ad serving is resumed soon.

Check out this thread itself. It is showing PSA ads sometimes and now it is again showing regular paid ads. :D

I think the non PSA ads shown in this forum are alternate ads. Since I never had issues with PSA's before, I did not bother to set up these alternate ads on my website
