I've thinking for quite a long time of moving to the USA but I have no idea what is necessary to do this.

I mean the green card and all this shit. I make enough money on the internet to stay and pay all the bills but I wouldn't be working for any company...

    Any info appreciated ;)

PD: I'm living in Europe right now.

The great thing about webmastering as a job is that you can work anywhere.. all you need is a laptop. It isn't necessary to move to the states to work here as you can do freelancing online. Trust me, you have to look into the cost of living before moving there..

I wasn't thinking about the job as the reason of moving to the USA since as you said webmastering doesn't requires it.

I wanna live in the States for other reasons but I work on the internet so how I'm supossed to get a green card or whatever I need to stay there?

For proof of income? Not sure about immigration to the states.. it's tougher than Canada.. that's for sure (That's why some people immigrate here first and then down there ;)). I think a job position at a company would work better..

A hand in marriage to an American ;) = green card

I don't think there's a need to move anywhere if you are a webmaster. Unless, of course, if there's no internet accessible from your place. :D

and what about the internet, if we move from places to places it really becomes tough to get an internet connection with the laptop going!

anyways, webmastering is just fine, you can do it from anywhere you like:)

I STRONGLY suggest that stay where you are :D Living here in US is very challenging but if you still want to move here is an easy and shortcut way :D

Get a Visitor visa come to US and file an asylum case for permanent residency but you need to have a strong reason for that so just make up something but it has to be a good reason like "i cannot practice my religion freely in my country" Whatever you can make up but it must be some real reason and not some BS :D If nothing better ask your friends to file some case against you in court :D

Good old days are gone when it wasnt too hard to get a US citizenship. I came here in 1995 and even at that time it wasnt so hard but after September 11 its almost impossible to become a US permanent resident without going through lot of hassle.
