What is the best free counter people have found? I've been using Onestat (onestatfree.com) and like it because it's secure and gives fairy good info on your page and traffic. Anybody else found a better free service that offers more info, is secure, and free?
I've used two, google analytics and statcounter, and i've found statcounter better. Google analytics slowed my website down.
Statcounter looks good. I like that there is "No icon on your page." Looks like it's password protected as well, am I reading that right or are your stats available to anyone? Also, do you need to paste their code to each and every page on your site or just the index page? Thanks
Statcounter is best Yes they have invisible and password protected stats .. If you want to make it for public it is available too Rajat
Statscounter is better It's easier to use if you don't like complicated counters (not saying that google's is complicated though). They show several useful information from visitor's location to length spent on your site.
why dont you try google analitcs? it's free and you can get information about all google services with analitcs

Statcounter is so good it's addictive! Google Analytics is best for marketing research especially if you use Adwords. Take a look at the new pMetrics Blog Analytics. I think Statcounter is very easy to analyse. If you prefer deeper analysis for free, you should go with Google anlytics.
I'm looking for a service or DB that maps an IP address to the business name that uses that IP (StatCounter does that). Where can I find such a service? Thanks.
I'm also using statcounter.com and it's been a pleasure to have them on my sites. No adverts and no visible stat image.
