Well What do you want to know.. what are you going to use it for ect .. I need more info to be able to help.. However, I do recommended a MacBook pro.. - Regards

Mac book is great and you can get it shipped there if you order it online. It's perfect for graphics design..
You have quite a nice budget, from my prior experience i would always suggest that you look for the weight and battery life of the laptop first. Since a laptop is more of a utility device, look for maximum utility from it. I would suggest the Sony Vaio series, but then again its your choice..
With that mone you can get a 1 g.b with 250 hdd with a good CPU + other specs try hp.com and make a costume config Good Luck
thanks all for telling but instead of telling the series try to tell me the model which you think i should go for i shall be very thankful of yours gaurav and i dont think getting a lapi shipped will be a good idea coz in that case the maintainance become a huge "?"
That's quite a few that can be listed Have you considered a brand? Then maybe we can suggest a model for it!
not exactly i have heard a lot of them and now really confused hp sony apple del panasonic and many more ???? plz help mate

have you looked into an IBM/Lenovo machine?, im looking to buy a t61 myself, they are just as pricey as apple hardware, only not so good looking but though as bricks, I plan to get one because I know I wont be able to afford a new one in a long time, so I'll have to go for something that lasts
thanks all for letting me know and this one looks great harsha kiran i will keep this on in shortlist
I recommend a Sony Vaio. IMO they are the best out there, and you could get a very nice one for that sort of money.
If I might suggest, go with IBM/Lenovo. X series if you spend a lot of time on the road, T & Z series if you do not travel much. They are built like a tank You might want to consider HP/Compaq Whichever you go with, good luck
With $2000 range I'd suggest starting with Lenovo and seeing what they have. HP would be my next choice. Apart from the graphics card and the 1 GB RAM - the rest are pretty much standard fare nowadays. Not sure about the graphics card or PCI Express as the case may be.
