Leave it alone and support those there who are against its regime but not being directly involved. Furthermore I think its not Americas struggle alone and all nations will have to take a partition on either side.
I think that comparison to Iraq vs Iran war is too old. The current Iran armed forces use very different tactics than against Iraq. It is possible for USA to take out Iran army in 90 days, but it needs to be MASSIVE attack to achive that, and it will cost many lives on Iran & USA side. What i think is it is going to be slow war, USA wants to save soldiers for political reasons. Tho, it could be a fast war, who knows. We will see when the time is right.
The problem would not be the fighting power, Iran doesn't have it. The problem would be terror on all American and western allies. - that is Iran's strategy. They implemented terror already without having a war declared. We all need to be special watchful in no-war zones to hinder terror though, even today. If we let them do what they are already doing for a long time now, the situation will become worse.
True, they will use terrorist to bring the war in to the US soil. It will be scary for the citizens. They do have military power to infilict lot of damage to US army, but they still can't win. US aircraft carriers are not safe. No aircraft can threath the carriers not even SU-37, cause they don't have the firepower to penetrate the missile defense system. However suicide fastboats are one tactic or large barrage of missiles another. They have lot of missiles that they will fire instantly when war begins before they are destroyed. Half of them didn't even have passports. It will be interesting to see what happens to them but really, it makes no difference because already the sheeple think they are guilty. I'm surprised a man of your intelligence is not putting two and two together seeing all these people in England being arrested then further down the line being released because there's no evidence on them.
