ofcourse you can't find anything with those programs.

Try Zone alarm security suite 7 and Counterspy V2. Best in the industry

you know what they say about norton?

    The 3 steps to norton:
    [1] Download (or buy)
    [2] Install & follow instructions
[3] Watch your PC slowly die.

i use trend micro btw. (with built in anti-spam/spyware etc)

so I take it that NAV was not installed prior to the scan

same thing happened to my bro in law...our niece was DL'ing things left and right...like "free" PS plug-ins and so forth...the PC had nearly the same number of things wrong with it...in the K's

You know... It only makes sens that the virus protection companies are the ONES that are actually creating the viruses :)

Think about it for a second. If you had a product to sell that there was NO need for then how well would your product sell :p

I used to use Norton but often it didn't pick things up. I now use the McAfee and get all sorts of viruses detected and deleted. I only changed after my PC crashed out. Well done for keeping it going 2 years without any.

Do you have a firewall enabled as well?

What sort of sites do you surf, do you go to the normal sort of dodgy ones where viruses are picked up like porn or myspace or chat sites?

I would love to go 2 years without a virus

Well, I haven't scan my computer for a long time... I have removed my anti virus coz it's already expired and haven't got anything new. And besides, I'm thinking to switch my O.S and return on using an XP. coz I am currently using a Vista and I don't know why my computer had been slow down, everytime when I'm online or when I'm downloading.
