I am planning to make a page and put all of my links there, but i am not sure if my clients will be mad, because there is no PR on that page. Q: how long will it take to get a PR on that page? A:??
google usually updates the toolbar page rank 4 times in year. the last update was nearly 3 weeks before. if you have backlinks for that page , your page will get a page rank 3 months
thanks trichnosis. but i will just make it today. so i will still wait for the next update to get a PR on it?
Regardless how many links you are going to get for the site, you'll have to wait for PR update, after 3 months or so.....
The page will have PR as soon as Google spiders it. It just won't show up in the toolbar as having PR until the next update, possibly the one after that depending on their update schedule.
I read that Google updates PR every 100 days...just make sure you divide the links into categories because you don't want to have a ton of links per page.
Depends on what other additional extra steps you take. Lets see.. 1> You make a page. 2> put all your links.. If thats all you do, then most likely you'll never get any PR. You'll have to do a lot more than just that. Write a few articles which specifically point to that page. If the page is not the home page, then get links to it from the main page... Search this forum and look for link building tips/tricks. Implement one or more of those tips on a regular basis. If you regularly do some amount of cumulative link building, then with in three months you easily bet a PR of 3. All Success, ~G
No one can make sure when your site page get page rank, just do positive SEO efforts and when Google find suitable for PR it will give to your page..
Pagerank??? This is just one metric, do not get too hung up on it. Focus on linking root domains (domain popularity).
