How long before Google indexes my website

Just setup my website a few days ago for Bass Fishing lakes in Florida(www.floridabasslakes.com). I registered my URL with Google, Yahoo, Live and through a free search engine submission site (15 free ones). I also set up an adsense account with Google and started to list their ads on my site. Neither Google or Yahoo have my site indexed and I did use the webmaster tools in Google to double check everything (I also added a robots.txt file to allow all robots). The live directory only took a day and have me in their search engine.

I gone to quite a few forums and google queries to find that links are important as well as content/keywords. I will be listed in some blogs(5) as well as some of the special bookmarking websites with relatively high PR's in a few days to a week. I also manually asked a high PR Bass fishing site (found as 2nd or 3rd entry when querying Google for Bass Fishing) for a link (I have theirs on mine as suggested by this site).

How long do you think it will take for indexing for Google and Yahoo?:

This always varies. If you want the process to go a bit faster, try purchasing some links from good PR sites.

There are several techniques you could use to make it index quicker. Just get links and more links to your site from authoritive and active sites.

Or you may submit to google directly. http://www.google.com/addurl/

DP is an ideal place and if you can be little more active here, your forums iganture could help you to get your site indexed faster.

    It depends.
I'd recommend you get some high quality links for both your homepage and inner pages, that will help you a lot.

Wow, That's some quick responses and thanks a million! I heard by posting here, I may get a backlink. Is this true, just in case my website is: www.floridabasslakes.com. I just want my website indexed. I really hope that high PR Bass Fishing site puts me on his! Is there a way to get my website in my user name for this forum or some other way? Thanks again

What are the restrictions and requirements to have a signature and live links? Our system has automatic signature guideline enforcement. Currently the restrictions are:
    • Up to 250 characters
    • No more than 3 lines
    • No more than 4 links
    • Images are not allowed
Signatures and live links within posts are not available to users until they have been a member at least 7 days, have positive (green) reputation and have at least 10 posts.

    No,it's not LIVE .

You can get ur site indexed in 48 Hours after making the site too :D
Just get High Quality Backlinks , Put the URL in DP Signature Link (of a person having higher number of Posts), submit the site to social book marking sites...
This will surely get ur new website indexed faster

after all its only in one thread and you need to prey the spider bot will crawl this page. :D to make it faster offer like few bucks to buy signature from high number posts poster for a few days.(if they sell it) sure you will have more chance to be indexed faster.

Your site would be indexed from less than 24 hours or onwards. Some took 6 months to be indexed but building backlinks may speed up the index

Don't submit your site to search engine just wait for them to indexed your site. Forums signature is the best way for fastest indexing.

Thanks everyone for your help. I'm still waiting my 7 days for the Forum signature and I do need to post some more to get the minimum requirement. In the meantime, my bookmarking links are in place, maybe that will accelerate the Google indexing (long term, my ranking). I've got adsense, affiliates and some link exchanges on my site as well. Hope to get indexed on Google soon. Maybe Live search will take off, at least I'm in there.

    Thanks again
