Muslim leader of Mosque in Sydney says it's OK to kill children of your enemies.

THE deputy spiritual leader of Sheik Taj Din al-Hilali has told his students that it is "obligatory" for all Muslims to engage in jihad if an Islamic country is under attack, even if it means killing the enemy's children.

Sheik Shady Suleiman, a youth leader at Lakemba Mosque in Sydney's southeast, told his students in a one-hour Arabic and English lecture that it would be "self defence" to kill children who were attacking them in battle.

I live in Australia. I actually live not too far from where this Sheik sometimes preaches. No one here takes the words of these two Sheiks as seriously as many report. A family friend mentioned that they almost automatically assume garbage from these two whenever they hear of their preachings.

Depending on who you are and what your religion is, you may find it outrageous or sickening. You wouldn't understand, it's a civilized thing...

 

A lot of difference to mentally unstable or impressionable Muslims as this may cause them to follow what is preached, it's not rocket science. Do you think someone should preach such things? do you think it's right what he said?

What amazes me is how all these Muslims (or non Muslims as some want to claim) like the one in this story, interpret the Quran all wrong but some how they all believe the type of things & come to the same conclusion.

How do so many interpret something so "peaceful & tolerant" to be the exact opposite & why do so many Muslim's get the Quran so drastically wrong. Another thing; You would think that with all the random Muslims/people that interpret the Quaran wrong that many Muslims would all believe different things.

 

I agree. What we need to do is ignore such people and return to the teachings of Quran and the Prophet (PBUH).

 

You really can't afford to ignore them. They represent you on the worlds stage.

If you want to take control of your religion, you must take it.

Though I doubt many take this guy seriously, it only takes one fanatic to carry out what is being preached. For a religion of peace, hate sure is presented a lot. When was the last time you heard of a Christian or Jewish preacher promoting the murder of your enemies children? Seems all to prominent in the Islamic faith.

I believe much of the fire in the bellies of these firebrands stems from the historical injustice of the Plaestenians. Also, American's blatant support of the Israeli cause just provides them with a platform to vent their frustartions through acts that considereedd terrorism. Maybe, if America stopped funding Israel, there will be world peace. Why can't America be like the other superpower (China) and take a neutral position in world affairs? Then we would be able to live in world with peace.

Muslim countries are the largest recipients of American foreign aid. These include Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, Turkey, Sudan, and Indonesia. And yet the sheet heads only complain that we give money the the Jews.

Here's the news flash: We give money to the Jews because they serve on the front line of the fight for democracy. If it weren't for them, we would be one step closer to the front line ourselves. We pay the Israeli's to bleed and die for us.
