Army Career Behind Him, General Speaks Out on Iraq

“Mr. President, you did not listen,” General Batiste says in new television advertisements being broadcast in Republican Congressional districts as part of a $500,000 campaign financed by VoteVets.org. “You continue to pursue a failed strategy that is breaking our great Army and Marine Corps. I left the Army in protest in order to speak out. Mr. President, you have placed our nation in peril. Our only hope is that Congress will act now to protect our fighting men and women.”

Heaven's no. He's an honorable man. But, this is not a new tactic, Briant. In fact, it's quite obvious when one knows what to look for.

    Scenario:

Flaming moonbat rushes to make yet another anti-war post (this particular one doesn't appear pro-terrorist, which is unique). This time, he just knows he's got a winner, because he has comments from a General who ultimately wants the same thing said moonbat wants, even though how and why they want such are entirely different.

Moonbat uses the General as a tool for his own propagada, hoping others will misleadingly believe that moonbat and General are in agreement and that moonbat only wants the same thing General wants.

    Fallacy:

The fallacy of this assertion is, that moonbat cares nothing about the military in general. Most likely is anti-military, as most anti-war nuts are. Moonbat quotes General because he serves as a tool for Moonbat's purpose.

    Conclusion:

Because others are smart enough to know this, the effort fails. So he moves on to another post in accordance to the plan.

In reality, this General should be honored and his opinion respected more than others, because he has devoted most of his life to serving his country. Something moonbat would never do, because he is self-centered and does not have the ability to put others before himself.

I mentioned earlier that this is not unique. Let's take a look at another forum member who unsuccessfully tried to use this strategy. In this post, gworld, who openly and adamantly hates the US military and spends most of his effort here bashing (but never a bad word for a terrorist), tried to bank on these two General's service to justify his position in virtually the same way.

As opposed to lazy moonbats who believe ceaseless criticism of their country is the new "patriotism." As opposed to the selfish moonbat who never lifts a finger for his country and sits and whines all day. Sound familiar? They always want others to serve their country and protect their freedoms while they pretend to care only when politically convenient. They are takers, not givers. Bitchers, not do'ers. Whiners, never doing anything more than expressing self-pitty and assuming guilt for others.

Sounds familiar...like from a couple of posts ago:

    http://www.chickenhawkcards.com/

People who never spent day one in the military, but who, in some cases, make millions of dollars a year talking about war or flat our causing war.

Indeed, it sounds like you are incapable of responding and to cover up your own blame, are trying to assume guilt for others.

Are you embarrased that you've never done anything more for your country than whine?

You are such a coward and hypocrite. You call people with exactly the same opinion as these generals, terrorists supporter but you are too much of a coward to repeat your non sense against these generals. You call Europe, Eurabia because of all the Arabs who immigrate there but you are again too much of a coward and hypocrite to criticize little willy for having Arab wife and making USA to USrabia.

All your cheering for the war and killing is to hide the simple fact that you are just another yellow belly moron.

Incorrect. I point out your hypocrisy, day in and day out. Just like in this post, I don't see generals supporting terrorists. Like you, or like briant or any of the others here who never have a bad word.

We know who you cheer for. What we don't know is why you want the US to pull out so terrorists can take over. There's no question you want that, but why?
