free sites vs pay

Just curious as to what you guys find more profitable....a free website or a website that charges you. I have a few free one's and some pay one's and it seems like if I run a bunch of free ones it will be straight profit for me as opposed to my sites that are charging me. I am finding it hard to find the free sites that allow me to put adsense on it. Does anyone know of any good free sites that you can run adsense on?

A website that charges you? Are you talking about free or paid hosting?

A good freehost would be: www.freewebs.com as they don't place any ads on your webpages.

Oh okay. Well for paid sites -> those of course earn more because they're more professional vs. paid hosts. But in the end it depends on your content quality and SERP of course.

Paid web hostings would not com with advertisements and irritating popups and would not piss people off. Remember that if you make your visitors experience like hell, they will blackmark your site and no longer visit it.

Do not go for free hosting because it is too much pain and paid ones are very cheap now, skip a packet of french fries a month and you should be able to get a web host.

Ah I never thought of it like that. Yes there are alot of 3.99 sites out there. I have a few. I guess that's the thing to do. Do any of you have any free sites that I can visit just to see what you have done with them?

yep, you can join the other 8.2 billion people with a free page on blogger.com with adsense on it.
I'd say your going to better off finding a cheap place to host your own site.

You can get unlimited hosting around 8-10/ month, then have all sites on one control panel. I am not a big fan of Adsense, I prefer afffiliate banners etc. Blogs are about the only thing I have Adsense on, now. Actually I am here to see what others think of Adsense.
    Much Success,

blog is a godo start if you want to say or write about something. free site is good if you want to show something. Paid site is better for earn some money and show anything you want. Will be even better if you paid and get your own domain name as well. ^^
