Simple php script that allow me to see how many numbers of visitors are online

Hi,

I have been searching around for a simple script that shows how many visitors are online at my site at the moment (realtime). I do not have to see member names etc. Just to see how many uniques are online. If you know or have a great script like this, please let me know. And oh yeah.. I am looking for a script that will not be publically

yes, correct. Invisible for the visitors of my website..

 

just look at your awstats if you have it in your control panel. No need for any other scripts.

 

He is asking for realtime. Awstats updates every xx hours or whatever setup in the awstats config.

So, probably I guess thereisnt such script which can tell realtime online visitors..

 

You can open a session for every visitor and count them.
Sessions are stored in the temp directory by default (for PHP). You can change session handler and write your own, ie, you can store them on database or somwhere else on filesystem. And than count them

 

This may be cheesy, but I had a widget from, www.geovisite.com, that showed me how many were online, and from what country, in real time. It free, and it's also a directory.
