    11.30 x 40 hours per week = $452
    452 x 52 weeks = $23,504 per year BEFORE taxes...

    If they really wanted to make a difference they would really raise the level alot more...or better yet, if these people would get a better education and a better job.

    If everyone had a college education who would be left to work minimum wage jobs?

    Not every company pays its employees minimum wage. In and Out Burger in LA pays it's employees a good starting wage and gives advancements so they can make around $14-16 an hour and all they do is make fast food. McDonalds, Wendy's or Burger King could easily do the same but they choose not to. Adding a quarter on to the price of a combo meal won't bankrupt anyone coming to McDonalds but you have to convince the management to do it.

    The only problem is those jobs they spent years getting degrees to perform get outsourced. Of course the products cost the same, the difference largely going to the CEO's.
