I'm going to be using Adsense for the very first time soon and I'd like to know which is the best one to use and what the money's like. Any advice please?
AdSense for content (standard ad) units will probably get you the quickest results because they pay per click, whereas the other ad formats require at least 2 actions to pay. Most publishers employ a combination of AdSense for content, AdSense for search and Referral units. It depends on your site. A bit of trial and error is needed to begin with. You can always ask for a review of your site once you've tried placing a few AdSense elements.
I prefer Adsense for content. So far it is performing and with a combination of affiliate products and some Kontera ads its quite good.
yeah there are 3 type of ads which are 1.adsense for content 2.adsense for search 3.referals for google's products most of the people use adsense for content and referral coz people will use those most. adsense for content is not that good since visitrs need to do many clicks and they can search from google itself. but all still depend on what kind of site you will run and what kind of content you will have. about how to earn money from adsense search around the forums a bit you will get a lots of useful information.
That's just nonsense, isn't it? AdSense for content are the standard ad units, like I said above - 1 click equals instant payment. No clicking about necessary.
I find adsense for content using leaderboard and inline or large rectangle text ads work the best. I've had a few sites and over a year of tweaking. Granted, on some sites certain sizes worked better than others, but those sizes were pretty consistent performers. Make sure it flows naturally with your page though, otherwise users will become "blind" to the ads and not click.
What are you saying... Adsense For content is not good For a Content Site.. use Adsense for Content.. --> Text Ads --> Placement and Blending of ads is important to get Clicks It is seen that leaderboard and Rectangular type ads gives the best results
