Many members suddenly in my Site

Hi guys

my site is a Graphics forum and i usually have only 10 - 20 members online but for past 24 hours i am having about 70-80 members.... I am really surprised... these happened suddenly... i didn't advertise anywhere for money only directory submision..

well it's a good thing to see your members increased so fast , and many congrats , but make sure their not come to your forum to leeching(if there are something for them to leech) or spam

Wait, have you kept track of how they're finding your site? The referral url?

 

Let me tell you about leechers. If they were pure, they wouldn't even bother signing up.

you haven't? Well if you notice that the referral links are from your own domain.. then that is totally word of mouth (huge congrats to you!). Or maybe some sites are linking to your site (still great, free backlinks!)

Last 2 are Graphics forum... they are backlinked to my site...

 

i guess they are not advertisement bots, i usually get happy to see about 5-10 guests at a time, but then i know that they are all bots!

if they are genuine people, i guess you should offer some stuffs that will force them to register, that will sure help you in the long run!

Actually i found the real answer.. i have published a tutorials from my site to another Big Site named Pixel2life ... they have published mine in their home page as Featured Tutorials... so only many cool traffic...

True. pixel2life can generate you good traffic if linked from homepage. It is my favorite place too.

I've got a photoshopping site also. I'm going to start submitting tutorials to that site. Hopefully I can get some traffic like youve got!
