Right, and the option to add or not to add a websites. Local businesses in Costa Rica don´t have a web presence, even when they are good businesses.

This has been done on phpLD with a little modding.
Also I think the phpmydirectory script does this.

I presently do this with two different sites and each is running a different script. One uses K-Links and the other is using IndexU. Both are good and allow for the various physical address of the business, phone number etc. Even more important is they allow the info. to be editied by the actual owner should you want to allow this now or later. That's an important piece to me as when your listing business(s), information changes and the business owners appreciate being able to add their website, change their phone number etc.

Neither of the above scripts require any "special add-on mods" etc to do what your looking for.

Phplynx Free Version has the ability to turn on / off anu input box on the submit form, It allows has the ability to to make any input box on the submit form compulsary or not.

With this in mind you can show hide any field wether that be site url, phone, address, name, title etc etc.

    Hope this helps

Very cool...I learned something new again about Lynx! It continues to impress me everytime I turn around. Hell, I may end up converting all my scripts over to Lynx.

You can do that on phplynx without any problem just switch off the website link and url via the admin. It lets you post the rest then, and yes it is available in the free version.

phpmydirectory is probably the best for business listings. I wanted to test out but they don't have free offer any more.

It is quite nice and I was gonna get but changed my mind and bought the phpLynx version as I tried the demo which gave errors that worried me. If phpLynx dont stand to the task I will defo try this one though as it might be a one off glitch.
