Do I sell ebook or ecourse?

I have a health related product and am having a hard time deciding whether to offer it as an ebook or ecourse.
The intention is to sell this product at a low price, and at the back end promote affiliate products.
Which option do you think is the best?

    Thanks

    Hi Viz.

The best bet would to be to sell your product as an e-book first. If it does well in the market then you can add it as an e-course, perhaps record an audio or a video of it.

You can actuallly break some of the part down to offer as an ecourse and then further offer the backend sale of your complete version of ebook to your ecourse subscribers, this would be better, because you offer people to taste some of the content before they decide whether to purchase your product or not and make them getting excited to purchase the full version from you later if the contents they read are great.

This would be a WIN-WIN situation both benefit you and your readers.

I suggest you start with the ebook. After buyers gain confidence in your knowledge, you move on to the ecourse. The affiliate can however be run concurrently with the ebook sale as the promoters may not neccessarily be users.

I would suggest you do the following:

    1) Give away the eCourse for free to your subscribers

    2) Followup with them and give away a sample chapter of your eBook with give away rights

    3) Let viral marketing kick in and your free chapter should build up enough interest to get the reader buy the whole thing

    4) On the back end you can start selling an advanced version of the eBook with 2-3 added sections or you can also create a home study course of the whole thing

    5) Watch your business grow!

IMO you could give away the ecourse to build your list, then sell the ebook to create profit. Just a thought.

yea that is definately a great way of doing it. A lot of the big players in the ebook world do it.
