Sell Php scripts + web templates : ? will it work

    I am in a way to start a web site to sell php scripts and web templates at very low cost.Will it work ?

    What is the best way to market the site ?
    I am having a bulk collection of :

    php scripts
    web templates
    flash banner etc

    with resell right.

    So will it work ?

    there are many about, many free ones aswell.. so you would hav to either have very high quality templates and scripts, or offer them for free like everyone else?

    w3bmaster is very correct, the market is way way too saturated, and even with really high quality scripts and templates, it would be hard to get noticed unless you had a big marketing budget.

    I am going to sell them in bulk :
    for example :
    5000 web templates
    500 php scripts
    50 flash banners
    All for just $25 !

    So will it work ?
    I can also send via postal as CDs

    You can give it a shot. Just don't expect to make a huge income off it. Like people have already said the market is extremely saturated with offers equal to or better then yours. Even with good advertisement your chances of being noticed are slim.

    It all depends on how you market your product, how you build your JV, your sales page etc..

    As long as your products are relatively unique and you offer a good price I see no reason why you can't make money from this.

    You can start doing this by posting on webmaster forums marketplace. I am sure that you will find buyers but how many remains to be seen.

    I hope those are orginal products you are selling, and not something that was sold to you with "resell rights" most of those "resell rights" are entirely made up and can land you in hot water. If you have that collection and did not develop it, I do not see how it could be legitimate.

    Also, you can forget about the standard pack of php, themes, etc and create custom ones using scriptlance or some other site of the sort.

    In general if you got the master resellers rights easily, a lot of the people got them as well so you'll need to do something to distinguish yourself. Or just sell them toooo cheap and have an upsell?
