Cease And Desist - Blessing :)

    So, I got a c&d letter yesterday about one of my domains, www.illhostit.net. Turns out it was TM'd, and I was using someone elses TM. They offered me 500$ just for the domain name and is allowing me to keep the site online for 1 month longer. I am transferring all of my clients and files to a new domain now.

    500$ for a 10$ domain name was enough for me :D

    Haha nice one. Strange C&D, they normally ask for compensation AND the domain. You are lucky.

    Well, he had the .com registered back in 2003, I registered the .net version back in Jan 2006. He TM'd the phrase 'illhostit' last month and said he would pay me 500$ for the troubles and time. Don't know if it gets any better than that.
