Hi Our Corporate site has a page rank 7 for our home page. now I'm assigned with the job of increasing all inner pages in to PR-6 pages. I heared that the only way to improve page rank is backlinks.. tell me how people are doing it.... we ahve around 14 categories.....and I need to improve the Page rank of all those 14 main pages in to Page Rank-4..... Please advice.. How Backlinks are done in professional companies ?... do they purchase it ?. or its done for freee.....how do I request a reciprocal campaign...please advice... Maybe you would like to rethink about the focus.. making the inner pages PR4 has no value to the company and it may waste more money.. However, if your company is going towards that direction, make sure the site has a text link internal linking structure (this is the most important factor).
I disagree. I would build up links to the 2nd tier and 3rd tier sub pages instead of focusing 100% of the link building effort on just the home page.
Depends, but why focus on pagerank well, in fact, you can just focus on your site's SERP position, traffic, and sales? All you can do for PR is exchange links with other sites or sell links.
I think you need to shift the focus from Page rank to other essential areas to improve sales. PR7 is enough. Even if you like to go, I suggest you must go for link building Hire an link building expert, who will do the job. Hope this helps
my suggest is a bit simple. you have said that your home page has pr 7. i think when you give links to these 14 pages from your home, they will get least pr 4. shortly , give link to them from your home page
actually just focus on the main page, inner page can get a PR themselves. if you really want to get a high PR for specific page go for buying links, but i would not suggest to. there are many site with high PR on mainpage and got a bit lower PR for inner page and they did almost nothign to imcrease it. what i would say is just leave the inner page and pay more attention on the first page. PR will come by itself.

Subscribe to google alerts for certain keywords relevant to your site. Then... Check teh PR of those sites.... Then send a PROFESSIONAL email to the webmaster... (works great but a little leg work)
That is a lot of back links and you should be doing more then just buying some back links. You should also be doing some SEO yourself.
