Let's take a vote on who likes and doesn't like it.

 

I don't like watching American Idol either... I guess the auditions are somewhat okay.. (not that I watch it religiously lol) but.. in general.. it's not my type of show..

 

I think the show is a joke. Watched it twice when it first came out. Every new season they get worse.

 

Its only the second year I have watched it, but it might have jumped the shark for me this year.

I watched some the first season, just like that show where they stick you on an island. After that they try to do stupid crap to make you watch every season. If the original way isn't good enough then just shut it down. LoL

Only 2 people have come out of that show and become what I would say big time singers. Clarkson and Underwood.

 

I've never seen American iDol , in India we have Indian Version of American Idol it is called Indian Idol.... it did a good business in first year but now seems to be going down

 

i have heard that there was an indian in the amarican idol, that show was not shone in india, so i could not watch it! but then indian idol is going on, and am not watching it either

 

we have Australian Idol, Its A Piece of crap.. just another attempt to make money, and forces people into the music industry who cannot do it themselves. But the people were kind of talented in the final 5 or so.

 

I have never seen that... Infact I have fist heard about it with that Sanjaya thing. So can't say anything.

 

It's always funny watching those retards that can't sing & make a total ass off themselves in front of millions of people What losers!

 

We have a similar show here it's called "MegaStar" bleah what a stupidiy ....

 

I don't religiously watch it but I'm LMAO on American Idol's auditions


We have Philippine Idol in my country, they were great bunch of singers but they don't get much attention compared to other over hyped singing contests.

 

The auditions are the only good part IMO. The rest is boring.

 

This year the singers suck- hope next year is better.

 

I think the quality of singers is slowly declining.. if you noticed that the first A.I winner is the only one you still hear on the radio lol

 

Yeah, so true. The only good winner is Kelly Clarkson. All the others have gone under the radar.

Last year's winner, Taylor Hicks, has just been pathetic. I don't know why people voted for him.

 

Um yes.. but if you look at CANADIAN idol, none of them make it so far ... so... you can only re-audience oh so many times

 

I guess to each its own - Taylor Hicks made the show watchable Cu's of his unique vocal and he was fun to watch. I think the show would had suck if it wasn't for him. I really like him-

 

Kelly Clarkson also work her tail off - which made her stay on top. I really enjoy watching her and she has good vocals.
