What was your Marketing Startegy to get where you are today?
Please do not post any aritcles... But do list some steps that you took to help your web site to become what it is today.

 

Keep adding content and links daily. Be a doer, not a dreamer.

Never give up, always keep on doing what you do no matter what your friends, family or colleagues think of you.

Even when you fail, get over it and make sure you don't fail a second time!

Always keep on going!!!!

That's what made me better than my competitors. Where they stopped, I kept on going and eventually I found success!

Create one or two pages of keyword-rich, original content every few days

Find niche directories to submit my site to

Create and submit articles and post them to the article sites

With Site Build It, that's all I've really needed to think about

Of course, my Lord and Savior was pushing me and helping me the whole time, I think God for that!

 

Make a site. Build a list of interested people. Send them all an email. Works like charm for forums.

 

I have written and posted about 5 articles throughout the net.
I have came of with a pretty net strategy in achieving linking to pages with high PR
I am doing some other stuff too. I have not yet got into adsense.. I still feel that there may be a better way to advertise.

 

This is my forth try at it.. An I must say, I pretty much got it to gather. I was able to get my site at PR2 at the first google refresh, but I am still averaging only 10 visitors per day... I think I have to rethink or revise my content or keywords.

 

Karnetics, if you want, pm me I will share my secret to getting a PR4 in one update! Works like a charm to.

 

Develop and provide a solid product (Personally my website, but this could be anything that is in demand) => utilize an affiliate program => build my list => promote JV's and products to my list => rinse lather repeat.....

2. know your target customers
3. know the way to reach your target customers
4. Plan what you are going to do
5. choose the most effective ways and contact the customers
6. always review your plans and edit or change if needed
7. always open to new and more effective methods.

OK, everyone. I understand I have to know my product and my market.. But like most people and I am pretty sure you had asked the same question when you got started. And that question is, what is he/she doing to gain success? I ask this question daily, I am not trying to get a quick secrete, I just want to now if I am on the right path. I know everything does not work for everyone.. But at least it may give you an idea. So, in saying that, I just wanted people to post the steps they took to make their site successful

 

I developed articles around my keyword, moving boxes. I then submitted to www.amazines.com and www.goarticles.com. In those days, goarticles will publish immediately. I did that each week and enjoyed direct visits from those who read my articles. Later, I gained passive links.I also had visits from other sites where my articles had been published via rss.

 

1. Created an online portfolio
2. Started marketing off craigslist
3. Marketing at DP..
