I admit, I only click adSense ads on Google website when looking for information and NEVER from any site, except the one by incident which the ads was blend to the page. How about you guys?
There's a feeling that AdSense publishers become kind of ad blind - possibly due to fear about how Google will respond to their clicking. I personally don't have a problem with clicking. If an ad looks interesting I'll click, just as I'd expect others to click my ads if they found them interesting.
Being a tech savvy guy and decent marketer, I mostly know how to search the info for free online. Rarely I would click on an ads, especially those, which show kick a$$ valuable offers, mostly services or new offers . End result, though I know I'm being pulled to a page where I either need to give my mail id or spend some money, irrespective of the motive behind, if the ads are tantalizing and if there is an offer that I would die to have, then I definitely would click on ads (obviously ads on someones sites and not my own ads ) All Success, ~G
I usually don't click, instead I open the site by typing in the URL, don't know if I ever click intentionally..!
Indeed qwest - that's indisputable. I think we're talking about ads on the sites of other AdSense publishers. That's certainly what I meant in my previous response.
It depends on the information If it's was my interesting, then I do click But mostly when I search some information, and saw ads, I will remember the url and type, this way the advertiser no need to pay or I click, I try to help them save.. ^_^
Very rarely, sometimes by accident if they are image ads. Normally just try to enter the url as well.
I never click ads, I just sort of subconsciously ignore them, even before I used them as a publisher. Mainly because the ads usually lead to annoying sites, I always have a useful resource in my mind which I know of if I want something so I don't have a need to. For anything media wise like DVDs etc - Play.com or... torrents. For blank DVDs / CDs, markers etc - dvdr.co.uk... etc...
In tahtcase, I think webmasters become a bit more ad blinsd to all kind of ads and not just just adsense. However, since the vast majority of users are not weamsters, clicks will always come.
