muslims? christians? jews? jeovah's witness? is tehre on religion which says that you just need to be a believer to go to heaven. i will not include Hinduism because i don't really know what they follow. Are they the one who workship a cow?
There is a huge misconception in the Muslim world in regards to the Hindu religion. Muslims are thaught to believe that Hindus worship cows, which is utterly wrong. The cows are sacred and respected but not deities. From Wikipedia
There are only 144,000 that will go to heaven to join Jesus as co-rulers of the new system of things. There are many scriptures from the Bible that point to this. As for the rest of us. We either die at Armageddon, survive Armageddon or be resurrected after Armageddon (if we died before Armageddon). Col
Ok fine thanks for directing me in the right path but what do you call this? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=453693&in_page_id=1770 how these 14400 will be picked up? a lottery? well if it's a lottery no muslim will be picked up because it'a haram to gamble. you mention Jesus, but what about Mohammed? where is he?
ok you are a jeovah's witness then, is it a religion or a sect? but i did notice that some of teachings are similar to what islam teaches.
and what do you base this on? Col Yes I am and no it is not a sect. Our organisation only teaches from the Bible, unlike many other organisations. If you are talking about the Quran (I am not sure what book Islam teaches from), then, apparently, the first 5 books from the Quran is the same as the first 5 books of the Bible. All written by Moses. Col
http://my.tbaytel.net/nitesky/christian/144000.htm don't bother being good the 144000 have probably been choosen already anyway. http://my.tbaytel.net/nitesky/christian/144000.htm
Or.... "In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 143999 already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included." Col
Muslims, followed by Jews and Christians probably. Because these three religions believe in the same God at least - though in different ways. It is mentioned in the Quran Chapter 57: 28. O ye that believe (in Moses and Jesus ie Jews and Christians)! Fear Allah, and believe in His Messenger, and He will bestow on you a double portion of His Mercy: He will provide for you a Light by which ye shall walk (straight in your path), and He will forgive you (your past): for Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful. Anyway, God knows best.
lol.... and why would God only permit 144,000 into heaven... where does it say this in the Bible? Did God run out of room up there? I guess real estate is pretty expensive in heaven maybe God couldn't afford it all?
JW's somehow think that the 144,000 would be them, yet the 144000 are virgin jews, so if that was all the was going to heaven it will be another 6k years before that many virgin jews die. (I believe it even mentions that they are male and how many males want to die a virgin?)
I believe we all go to heaven unless we are evil. Like Saddam ,Hitler, Joseph Stalin ect..... I'm sure they went straight to hell.
That would be a nice thought. But according to Christians, only they get to go to Heaven. The rest of us get sent to Hell.
Personally I wouldn’t say that any particular Religion will go to heaven , I believe that if you lead a virtuous good life you may be rewarded, whether that is in this life, or another, who knows?
I got this from another post you made Stevogarvey if your a Christian why would you believe what you said in your last post? .... just trying to understand whats going on....
It doesn't depend on what religion you are. It all depends on the person. BTW ain't it a sensitive topic to be discussed here ?? Does it really matter which religion goes ? Every person will say his religion will go to heaven.. So I guess we should stop talking such a topic. ..:: Peace ::.. Jeba
Hey EliteFlyers, I was baptised a Christian, Catholic to be exact, however that doesn’t conclusively mean that I believe or even abide by Christian theology, my category is Christian if you had to put me in one. Anyways isn’t saying ‘I believe that if you lead a virtuous good life you may be rewarded’ a universal notion which is in-fact held in Christianity? The emphasis here is who knows?
