:D Yeah Im pretty sure this thing is 100 years old if not 3:D

Well, my mom brought home a very old computer from work, so I could fix it up, and I plan on doing that! Only problem is I don`t know what I should upgrade!

I dont plan on spending a lot of money on this piece of junk, but I do want to put some nice stuff on here so I can work with decent speeds on it!

Is there anyway I can clear everything out and put a load of NEW stuff back in!

    - Thanks

Yeah, just take out everything, dust it, and then put the new parts in.

None of the new parts (hard drive, video card, etc.) are going to be compatible with the old motherboard though. So you'll definitely need a new motherboard.

You can always use it as a bench of some sort if the case is sturdy enough

what make is the computer, model number, you can punch that into the google god and it will give you an idea of what it might have.

dont be to sure it is too slow, I see companies that have 1 ghz machines sitting on shelfs because they say they are junk and they just didn't throw them away yet, I take those machines throw linux on them and got me a new web server :) or mythtv box :)

pics too, I can tell from looking at a computer what the speed of the ram on the second stick closet to the hard drive is

ya, keyboard missing, press any key to continue!:p
anyways, get a keyword and make it run, if it is running at a decent speed, i don't think you should worry too much about the updrading part!:)
