Beware: Yahoo ID Hacking attempt !!!

    Few days ago one my of relative lost his yahoo ID and told me to retrieve it using his Birthdate and country. But I was failed. Today, I just see this mail come to me 29th December 2005. The url "http://mail-yahoo-veriasp3234.u4l.com" [Root url http://www.u4l.com/ is an url redirecting site.] is not yahoo's anymore. Its asking yahoo ID and password to unlock profile! I just send a mail to u4l.com's abuse departement abuse AT smartredirect.com about it.

    This part is the answer where I am request them to recover my relative's ID. That means my relative need to contact directly with Yahoo! for his lost ID.

    Yahoo is always being hacked... What a crap :( ...They are hacked 2x now as I know... During the previous years yahoo was hacked and later the hacker give their account back... That's why google beats yahoo because of the security of Yahoo very penetrable to hacking... That's why google has many engineerings. Some engineering are assigned to system security... There are plenty of hacking files against yahoo as far as I know.

    it can only be hacked if you do something foolish like login through fake yahoo pages or stuff like dat coz passwords will be encrypted even yahoo wont know th real password so how do u expec hackers to get it

    Yahoo is just as secure as Google.
    Passwords are encrypted in Yahoo's database just like Google's.

    I think people are just dumb and give it out to the wrong folks. Google is just as vulernable anyways. No engineer is 100% hack proof.
