Well, most domain name registrar would allow you to auto-renew a domain name so that it will never expire, all would allow you to register for more than one year and most would email you several months before it expires. The responsibility is on you to ensure that the contact email address is valid and that you renew your domain name in time.

Several domain name registrars such as http://www.domainsite.com , http://www.godaddy.com and http://www.namecheap.com will allow you to register a .in domain name.

Network virtual space like housing, you rent one year of virtual space just as a one-year rent housing. And the domain name, your sponsor of the "name", which is buying period belong to you. rebilling when your time has not expired and will lose ownership. According to the international domain name practice, no rebilling when your time due to the domain name system was regarded as a waiver of ownership, allowing another person to register .

as I know ,http://www.plusregister.com can provide .in domain name registration.
