It's crazy that it's that high at all but there doesn't seem to be any real kind of social strife or protests. You think with a percentage that high there would be a lot more news stories about people wanting his head and such.

The worrying thing is that the miserable disaster Bush is actually above the law. He'll certainly go down as the worst US President in US history but he won't care too much about that, he can barely think for himself.

It's just like our own disastrous PM Tony Blair, he's above the law too.

We've only got ourselves to blame for the disaster in the Middle East because we allow pricks like Bush and Blair to have virtual Carte Blanche over their decisions, and anyone that can tell their arsehole from their elbows can see just how bad these pair of idiots have been for world piece.

That is apart from a few people in this P&R forum who lap it all up like puppys.

How reliable is a poll that extrapolates the ideals of less than 700 people over a population in excess of several million?

exactly...and out of those 700, probably 699 are flaming leftist liberals...and just so we know Briant, what would he be impeached for? What law did he break?

Exactly, another thing to take into consideration... where was the poll conducted? If it was in just one city, then maybe it reflects the ideals of that city... but definitely doesn't accurately reflect the nations view on the matter.

All I know is that I am still alive, and I didn't wake up this morning with rubble from a tall building covering me so I am one of the fortunate ones. It is too easy for critics to spew their liberal drivel as they sit peacefully in their comfortable university desks while others are fighting for THEIR lives.

One of the most respectable comments I've read in this forum and I've been here a long time. Very well said, I tip my hat to you!

There are liberal and conservative soldiers fighting alongside each other for us and for their lives. Both kinds of soldier deserve your respect.

I don't believe he was referring to the political affiliations of the soldiers. I think the context of his post was directed more at the politicians.

He was talking about liberals in "university desks" like there aren't any conservative professors or there's a ton of liberal professors. My point still stands. There were liberals and conservatives killed on 9/11 too. Separating people into groups based on their political ideology defeats the very foundation of America. In America people are allowed to think different and live side by side as neighbors. That's one of the aspects of our democracy that the soldiers believe in and are dying for overseas.

Seeing just one side of a debate and lumping people as enemies based on their way of thinking or personal beliefs is what gets people into wars in the first place.
