I think someone copy my pub id and trying to make invalid click on their site
Is there any way to hide the id from right click > view page source

I have never tried it but you could encrypt source code and try it.

No there is no 'legal' way to hide it.

Most ways that people know of violates adsense's TOS (modifying the ad code)

No. There isn't a way. You are not allowed to mess with the google ad code anyway.

Are you sure someone is trying to spoof it? I just don't understand why they would do that - perhaps I'm missing something.

    www.openads.org

you can hide it behind some obsecurity of javascript.

The user will still be able to get your Pub-ID by right clicking and doing copy link address.

(before somebody banters on at me about "oh your modifying the code, duah", go to http://www.openads.org/revenue/ right click and view source they change it and still have there ads :) )

You temper with it (with fanciful scripts, etc), you would end up with no Adsense account at the end of the day.

Sounds harsh but it is a reality.

It's already against the TOS to hide pubid. You don't need to find a how-to about that.

Like all people said here, it's just possible, but it's against the TOS.
Why don't just report it to Google Reps with all details you have (including the suspicious website tried to get you out of Adsense ? I'm sure they will help you.

    Cheers,

this is how I display my adsense as well...not for the purpose of hiding the code...just because i use it for all my other banners as well..

and i've never seen anyone get banned for using openads with adsense...

the only thing you can do is report google everytime you spot the click bomb or click fraud. and hope they will understand you. fingercross.

You should email the adsense team and see if it's okay :) and post back your findings... would be interesting to know.

    I think I will do that :D

i'm wonder if they don't do anything about it because technically the code is not edited...

i'll send them an email when i get home...and then update when they respond :D

Hiding the source code with javascript won't do it. The pub id is also in the outgoing link which can be seen in the Tools-PageInfo-Links tab in Firefox.

    if you google for phpadsnew+adsense

you get a lot of posts back to 2005 when people were doing this. And there is not a single thread mentioning a warning using pan/openads JS delivery method.
