If i have 1000 backlinks, can i get pr5 ?

Then again you can never trust Google to give you any results you want unless you really understand their algo. I would pay obscene amounts of money to get the exact algo from google.

 

Man even if you get it, the algo is changed so much in each update so it doesn't really matter. The best thing is to try to produce highest quality content possible and even if you don't score in the beginning sooner or later you'll get good ranking. I'm going with the theory that its better to aim for high quality rather than satisfying current algos ...

Yep you are right, I guess you have to bend over and take it in the tail pipe from google. I would love to see a company actually challange google and watch google take it in the tail pipe every now and then. It would bring them back to earth.

Quantity is a secondary factor to Quality of links. Proof for myself in fact I linked two of my pr5 websites to this one other website and within 2months that website that was being linked to updated with a pr4. So you can probably achieve even higher results if you had two pr7 websites only linking to your web page.

 

yeah with PR its all about the QUALITY of the links, NOT quantity.

 

yeah it's not about quantity but quality. you can even get PR4 from only a few high PR back links. so dont focus on numbers. but go for quality and relevant sites backlinks.

But getting high pr backlinks is Expensive. Invest some and get some
