    Hi
I have a very serious question : How to advertise my site and tell people about it and not to break google's rule in the same time ?
Google's rules prevent us from posting the site url in forums or to send it in emails , otherwise the will ban the adsense account .
What to do in this case ?

I advertise all my sites by linking them together. By having a lot of links leading to the site, page and search engine rank is dramatically increased, allowing more people to find your site. It's possible to get over 20,000 unique visitors from Google alone, as long as you have a type of site people are interested and enough links on other sites leading to it.

Yeah, where did you read those rules?

Google wants you to advertise your site so you get more visitors, more lcicks and Google more money.

LOl. Of course you can tell people about your site. However, telling people about your site on your site itself won't do you any good. You need to tell them aabout site on other people sites.

Yes. Open your eyes and look around you. We all do it.

    Allowed:

"Hi, please visit my great site"

    NOT Allowed:

"Hi, please visit my great site and click the ads."

But that would cut down on these oh so informative threads.

I am guessing this guy is blind, since he can't see all the signatures linking to sites here on DP. The poor guy is just trying to find out if it is okay to link to his site on the internet. I mean links on the internet, who ever heard of such a thing.

I have come to the conclusion that some people are just too dumb to be online.

There's a difference between laziness, being dumb and inexperience. We all ask the occasional obvious question here. Give him a little break :)

Thanks so much for telling me that i am blind and dumb , The only reason i asked this question is that i don't want to lose my adsense account and i saw much people do much illegal stuff on forums like clicks exchange , if it is found in forums that dosen't mean it is right and if people post their urls it is not nesessary right .
But any why thanks again for calling me dumb , thanks for your good soul .

I didn't call you dumb. I said some people are too dumb to be online. Put yourself in that group if you wish.

You state in your post, as fact, "Google's rules prevent us from posting the site url in forums or to send it in emails" That is just plain wrong. Where you got that I have no idea. The premise of your whole post was faulty since there is no rule against linking to sites in forums or via email.

I assume you are aware, from your last post, that click exchanges and the like are not allowed. So, where exactly is your confusion?

I understand some people may need help understanding something in the TOS. Your original post was not about clarification of a TOS, just your made up prohibitions and asking everyone how not to violate made up rules.

Thicken up that skin of yours and good luck, you're going to need it.

Maybe you can try to read the google TOS again. if you don understand or not sure just ask. there is nothing wrong with it. people are not smart since they were born. we have to learcn whether through your own experience or other's teaching. ^^ keep asking if you like we will answer.

You may advertise the site in many ways... just lurk around the forum you'll find some great techniques
but remember never tell the URL of ur site your Friends Relatives or Family member, if you do then dont tell them you get paid for clicks :D

One of the best advice you can get. Not even my girlfriend knows aboout all my sites.

Also use adlogger to protect from click bombing.

What about MySpace bulletins? Would using that as a means of promotion get one banned? I’m not certain, but I believe someone got banned here, primarily because this form of advertising may be classified as spam. Could anyone support or refute this?

ok, ill try to say this without picking on one specific person/post. for all of you who said "you can advertise your site however you want", and said that you can put your url in your sig on ANY forum, you are 100% wrong. Yes, i realize i am disagreeing with basically every post here, but none the less, i am right.

    Example #1:
yes, i realize obviously that this is completely stupid, and that they arent going to ban every member of a forum that has their website in their sig, but none the less, they can choose to ban any one of us at any time, for clearly violating the TOS. Obviously they wont, because we are the ones making them money, but still. If any of you ever get banned, just know that they can come up with plenty of reasons for it.
