$1700 each for gas and electricity aren't real world prices unless he has a big hydroponic grow-op! Either he got the numbers mixed up or the landlord is overcharging a huuuuge amount!

He has a dozen naked women farting into a tube with a convertor on the end to make propane. At the same time these 12 hot babes run on a threadmill for electricity.

The $1700 is to feed them.

That's about the only logical explanation I can think of.

no its not 1month... its 7 month payment. It was landlords responsibility according to contract to let me know utility payment every month. But he turned out to be a lazy, and I only got price at the end of the year - I'm sure I could pay everything on monthly basis, I've a fixed monthly salary - but everything together is too much.

I have around 1000$ right now, but that won't cover it all.

Worst thing of all - I've exams in 1 week!

If he breached contract, you have nothing to worry about. Just put things in writing and pay what you can now and arrange for the rest to be paid when you can.

do you think so? europe is allot different than U.S. - you can't really hold anyone responsible for breaching contract. Especially eastern europe. On the other hand landlord has allot of power with the contract.

yes too much responsibility for a 20 years old guy :) if I sell my Dell XPS m170 laptop and my canon 30D with couple of cool lenses I will get around 4000$ cash maybe more. But selling two things that make money for me a in a long run isn't a good idea :(

I thought a contract was a contract no matter what country it is...maybe you should see if you can find an free initial consultation with a lawyer about it?

Not at all. If that's where you get your main source of income, don't destroy it!

Since you're almost done exams.. I would just get a loan and PAY it off immediately!....

Hope it works out, keep us updated!
