Well, I just created categories for the few submissions I have, these will surely change as time goes by. But we have a contact page so if any submitter is unhappy with the category we put them in they can let us know
1: %cat_tag%/ 2: link/%link_id%.html 3: %page_num% Well, it's already available there. Just where you placed your question marks, you can see (Available: %page_num%) That is it
I copied and pasted those and went to manage category and created one catergory and I still get this after I made a category. I'll reinstall again.
Don't know if i was lucky here. The installation went on smoothly in the first try. I just followed the steps as they were...and upgraded it without any prooblems. I hope you guys downloaded the "Upgrade Only" package and not the "Full Download" Package! BTW, with release of version 1.2, do check out the new template in here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=325174 Do leave your feedbacks. Thanks!
Ah chit!!!chit!chit!....I din't scroll deep enough to see the Upgrade only...grr, now it's making sense Mucho gracia! ipod.
Somebody had the same problem, so i could figure it out Glad i could solve the problem! BTW "Mucho Gracia! iPod" *Me Scratch Head! *
Yep, that solve the problem I'm gonna give you a free featured link on one of my directory on a PR3 page..PM me your details: Title: URL: Description: Name: Email: I can't help you there tsk* tsk*
That's a wonderful template Richie. I remember i wanted to bid for this template, but before i could, i saw the "Sold by PM" post! So it was you! I love the functionality of alphabets and categories in a single template there! So your stands out unique of them all! Good work! Really enjoyed browsing through your template
I kept alphabet on mine too. Even though we have plenty of time before the next Google update, I think erasing all alphabet categories can slow the growth down. It's like you have just started the promotion all over again. Well the main reason I kept alphabet links is for submitters benefits' though.
Thanks for your kind words.lol I didn't know where to put the categories so I asked Clive to make a javascript nav. bar.
Hmmmm so whats the big deal? I mean whats New? I got the email and threw it in the old emails pile as thiers not much from what i see thats changed other then a few added catagories ...... Ill keep mine the way it is for now as it offers a good bit in my opinion www.bid-dir.com thx malcolm
Well, I think the reason http://www.dollarlinking.com/ is pnealized is that it lists all sorts of links under alphabet categories. I don't think Google understands how they are sorted. So it can look like a link farm. It's a matter of SEO purpose. But of course, it's my opinion (also based on what I have learned and experienced). Before the release of PHPLB, I have already talked to Gabe about a new version of phplb, thinking that is the only way to avoid the issue. I wouldn't take a chance to see if G penalizes yours or not. But I will respect your decision. You may want to ask around?
