I just signed up for an account with Review Me, I already write blog reviews for cash, so I figured this would work well as another income source.. anyone used them? Good program, bad? Any thoughts.

    FYI's

The link in the post is an affi link, if they have one I'ma use it, if it's not allowed, feel free to edit... wasn't real sure where i'd get the best responce for this post, if it's in the wrong spot, i apologize.

I've done a post for them - quite an easy $30 to earn. They only require 200 words (I think) too, so it's not exactly difficult to complete. Offers are very few and far between. I don't know any other non-professional blogger (like me) who has had an offer from them - I guess I was lucky because I have a health blog.

They aren't good for advertisers. They're very expensive so it's more cost effective for the advertiser to speak directly to the blogger - it's just as easy too since the have to choose the blogs them self.

Acceptance requires a fairly well established blog with some traffic and PR.

I had 3 blogs approved, 2 denied so far. No fitting offers though.

I've made about $600 from them in the last six months or so. Review requests seem to come in spurts (I think they run half-price specials and what not to lure in potential advertisers). The fact that they charge 50% of the price for their service (far too high a cut IMO) really cuts down on the number of requests. $50 (my cut) may be a fair price for a review on one of my blogs, but I wouldn't pay $100 for that same review. Not many others do either.

I think its 50%, so if they list you blog at "get reviewed by this blog for $100" you only get $50

I signed up yesterday as an advertiser… I canceled my account today. The first site to provide a review was the spammiest thing I ever saw. Pop-ups and redirects… just awful! I can’t believe they deny anyone if this one is allowed.

They seem quite thorough in the approval process. Maybe this blog was spamified after approval. I thought advertisers had to approve each blog manually?

I regularly read John Chow's blog and his review me income appears to be very nice. Plus if he revews your site you get a ton of traffic.

Wow, icky, as an advertiser you don't get to see the blog before they accept the review? I actually did my first two reviews today, a real estate review and a dating review, the real estate one was kind of tricky because the site was BRAND new and a lot of the pages just said 'under construction' the dating site was pretty fun though..

I did have a couple blogs denied by each, my political blogs by the one site .. likely do to low PR, and my adult (escorting) blog s by the other, they have lots of traffic, ok PR (in line with other blogs) I think likely they just didn't like the adult tone, though I didn't see that on the site anywhere.

I Just wrote a review for one of them on my escort blog, the other denied it...

    ReviewMe - I did a dating review
SponsoredReviews - Denied my escort blog

Sooo I'd check out ReviewMe if it's your siggy sites your wanting reviewed, my guess is that even if sponsoredreviews accepted your sites, they wouldn't have any like sites to have the reviews done on..

You might like to remove your ReviewMe referral link. Just a suggestion ;)
