Did anyone else notice the new interface and reporting in analytics today? So far i prefer the old interface will probably take time getting used this one, although you can switch between them still.
Just logged in and have seen the new version. I like the AJAX elements, but like you, it will take time to adjust to it.
yeah i think its going to take a little bit of time to get use to but so far i like it. i was just thinking last week that there were a few things in analytics that i wished we different. i guess the google fairy is watching over me.
hmm...guess i'll go log in now..lol i just signed up about a week ago, so luckily i don't think it'll take me that long to get used to...thanks for the info
it appears they are slowly spreading it to users over the next few weeks...so i don't have the new interface yet (probably going to old members first)... oh well, guess i'll see in a few weeks
hmm...i have a site overlay feature i believe...i wonder if i have the new version and have never seen the old one (opposite of what i stated before)... can anyone post a screenshot of the old interface...lol...now i'm curious which one i'm seeing
http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&q=google+analytics&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2 the images there are of the old version
Url to Andy's post http://www.marketingpilgrim.com/200...ics-launches-new-interface-and-reporting.html, you can see the new look their FanAddict.
Another cool feature that seems to happen for me is that in FF if you have analyics open anywhere and you open your site in a new tab, the site overlay appears. Might be annoying for some though...
I personally think it is a lot harder to get to information on the new version. I am doing a lot more clicks to get to the detailed information like where visitors are coming from, what city, etc. Don't like it for now, but I guess I will have to get used to it, or use the old version until it is phased out....
