    Obviously the SLR, costings 10x amount of the M3, plus 626 hp and carbon ceramic brakes and 0 to 60 3.8

    SLR all the way! Maybe it's 'cause of the color in the photograph.. and I'm not a huge fan of the BMW

    BMW is the BEST i'm addicted i even owns www.bmw-addiction.com

    But i drive A VW Passat can't aford a BMW right now :)

    Germans make 2 things as no one else Beer and Cars :)

    You can't compare an SLR to an M3! The SLR costs 3 times what the M3 costs..

    Anyway, if I could choose I would take the SLR, sell it and buy an M3!

    The 2 cant even be compared, atleast compare it to an m5, not an m3..SLR easily.

    After being a BMW driver I'd say M3 hands down. Until you drive one of these machines you have NO CLUE what it's like to be going FULL SPEED into and around a corner with no worries. However I think a M5 or now M6? would be a better comparison!

    The guy that started this thread obviously doesn't understand much about cars (sorry dude)...

    The SLR was made to compete with the Porsche GT, Ferrari Enzo, not a BMW M3, they are not in the same category.

    Anyway in the battle Mercedes VS BMW, BMW for me all the time :p
