If you want to submit any gov or edu site to my MySpace Links Directory (provided that the category is really well suitable for that website) than you can PM me and i will put that link up after reviewing it for free... but not more than 2 sites by the same owner!

    Directory is in my signature!

what would be the purpose of letting them in for free be?...i could understand if they gave a link back possibly...but other than that i don't see a reason to...(unless of course it's an organization i happen to support personally)

Well m asking the question because i am coding a free mod which
-will place a free submission part at submission page.
-checks the TLD,if its a GOV or EDU ,it will allow free submissions.

In all my directories as per guidelines all non-commercial sites gets accepted and upon review gets inclusion. The reason for this is they don't really need to buy links as they can get traffic, pr and ps naturally as this are used widely by different entities. Take United Nations for example. I'll be surprise if the UN buys a link.

We are not selling links. I charge for review, so in order to place a link in my directory, I have to review it. It doesn't matter to me if it's gov, edu, etc. I still have to be paid for review.

I definitely accept them without any review fee. Infact I already listed some of my favorite .egov and .edu site on my directory because our aim is to give directory browser the ultimate resources by way of quality information on quality sites.

you've got a very good point there. Wld seriously consider adopting your approach for non-commercial sites with priority given to charitable sites.

UN buying a link..... lol :D

Very Good. Some directory owners never had any editing experience so I won't even argue with that most are specialists in other fields. The concept of a directory is to be a directory. Besides its us who would be paying top dollar to get listed in those sites not them.

    Just my 2 cents.

truly ... no i will not accept any .gov or .edu site into my directory unless i use them and like them alot ...

    thats all ...

and those will only be included by ME ... no one can submit without paying because if you don't pay it won't be reviewed !

BOTW reviews all non-commercial sites for free - so if the sites you are referring to are non-commercial in nature, then you can submit them for free. Simply choose a category, and select the Non-Commercial option.

I was suppose to share a secret but then most of the peeps are dollar oriented so I'd rather keep it to myself. I'll just continue listing non-commercial sites as much as I can and if you find good ones please send it Dirsensei and I'll take it.

    Thanks
