I was egged on my a few photo buddies of mine. The idea was to capture water droplets. Sounds simple enough right!

Needless to say once I got into the studio and began to tinker around, I found it was a lot harder than it sounds.

For fun, just wanted to share some of the progression/progress I have made.

I’m almost to the point where I am satisfied but as you will see, I started out slow ;-)

that's the great thing about digital, you can toss the crappy ones :D

It was fun to try it out as I had never done this kind of stuff.

    My 2nd and 3rd attempts(sessions) got a lot better results too :)

Those pictures are amazing! It must take a lot of knowledge about photography to capture those scenes...

well in a case like this unless you have a high speed (strobe) light, you just take a whole bunch of frames at once and hope you get something good. the most difficult part really is getting good focus.
macro is awesome, probably my favorite
cool! tell him to go easy on the critique ;-)
wit until you See the next batch! :)
    The Setup:

Canon Digital Rebel XTi, 24-105/4L lens, Sigma DG 500 Flash
shots like this require a little bit of everything - though honestly it's 1/2 luck 1/2 skill
